Communication: To send appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-up care instructions, and necessary updates regarding your booking.
Marketing and Promotions: To send you promotional materials, offers, and news about our services and products, provided you have explicitly consented to receive such communications (you can opt out at any time).
Business Operations: For internal reporting, financial reconciliation, dispute resolution, and improving our service quality and efficiency.
Aprils Hair Salon Group will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties.

4.1. Data StorageMost client records, consultation notes, and booking histories are stored digitally on secure, encrypted servers, often located within New Zealand or in jurisdictions with comparable data protection laws.
Physical records are stored securely at the specific salon location and destroyed confidentially when no longer required.
4.2. Access ControlAccess to your personal information is restricted to Aprils staff members who require the information to perform their duties (i.e., your stylist, the salon manager, and administration staff).
All staff are trained on privacy protocols and confidentiality obligations.
4.3. Data RetentionWe retain client records, particularly service history and allergy information, for as long as necessary to provide ongoing services and for insurance or legal purposes.
If you request your record be deleted, we will comply unless we have a legal requirement to retain the data.

We encourage you to inform your stylist of any changes to your health or chemical history prior to every service.
5.3. Opting Out of MarketingYou can opt out of receiving marketing communications (emails, newsletters) from us at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in the communication or by contacting your local Aprils salon.
